Artist’s Bio: I was born in Mexico City and was lucky to be raised by an art-oriented family. My father is still a painter at 82 years of age, and growing up, he and my mother gave us an education enriched with museum visits, art talks with colleagues and friends, models posing in his studio, and more. Was I lucky! Without feeling it, they were forming me to become an artist. When I finished high school, I didn’t know I wanted to devote my life to art. I got a Languages Teacher’s Bachelor’s degree; however, I decided to change professions after a couple of years of teaching Hebrew and Yiddish. Since then (when I asked for a Sabbatical year, 37-39 years ago), I decided to become an artist. It is so natural and spontaneous that it just flows. And, the best of all, I have an incredibly beautiful and supportive family. Indeed I’m blessed, as I feel passion and love for what I do every day. This is who I am, and what has been my full-time way of life.
