Acacia pendula
Common Name: Weeping Acacia
Growth Habit: small weeping tree to 25-30’ tall and 10-15’ wide with pendulant branches
Cultural Requirements: small weeping tree to 25-30’ tall and 10-15’ wide with pendulant branches
Features/Uses: Weeping acacias prefer well-drained soils. Once established, they do not require very much supplemental watering. They should be planted in full sun or at least partial shade.
Bloom Time: They are striking specimen trees with their long, thin grey foliage although they only rarely bloom.
Bloom Time: sparse flowering in spring
